The exhibition ‘Silver Lining’ brings together a range of Albanian artistic voices working with film and video. The show features video works created by a selection of artists with whom bazament has had the pleasure of collaborating during its five-year of existence. These diverse body of works aim to create a space for reflection and contemplation, serving as a silver lining in our cultural, socio-political moment, which is experiencing a deep crisis on all levels. By bringing together a diverse body of works, this exhibition showcases the power of collaboration, the importance of reflection and the role that artists play in shaping our cultural and socio-political landscape.

We strongly believe in and support the role of artists as crucial social actors who, through their agency, can create new spaces where it seems there are none.

‘Silver Lining’ sjell së bashku një gamë zërash artistikë shqiptarë që punojnë me film dhe video. Ekspozita paraqet një seri punësh në video nga një seleksion artistësh me të cilët bazament ka patur kënaqësinë të bashkëpunoj gjatë këtyre pesë viteve të ekzistencës. Narrativat e ndryshme të këtyre veprave, synojnë të krijojë një hapësirë për reflektim dhe kontemplim, duke shërbyer si një lloj “filli argjendi” në aktualitetin tonë kulturor e socio-politik, që po përjeton një krizë të thellë në të gjitha nivelet.

Ne besojmë dhe mbështesim fort rolin që artistët luajnë në formimin e peisazhit tonë kulturor dhe imagjinatës socio-politike, të cilët përmes agjencisë së tyre, krijojnë hapësira të reja, aty ku duket se nuk ka. Presim me padurim të lundrojmë së bashku të ardhmen tonë të trazuar e të ndritur.
